The body of an army member was found hanging in a lock in Satkhira

Satkhira Correspondent: Police have recovered the body of an army member named Chandra Shekhar Sarkar (21) from a lock in Satkhira. His body was found with a towel wrapped around his neck at the entrance of the non-governmental organization SDF near the house of the army member around 10 am on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Chandra Shekhar, son of Nimai Sarkar of Magura village under Sarkar upazila. He was serving as a soldier in the Engineering Corps in Ramu Cantonment, Cox’s Bazar.
Officer-in-charge of Tala Police Station Mehedi Russell confirmed the incident. He came home on a five-day vacation. His leave ended on October 25. But he no longer went to work. However, the cause of his suicide is still unknown.
OC Mehdi Russell further said that the real secret of his death will be known after the autopsy. His body was recovered and sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. He added that no complaint has been lodged with the police by his family so far.
